The Chrysler Elementary School Garden was started in 2003 by retired teacher Bev Eckland. Food gardens are planted seasonally, and many students have been able to grow and eat their own produce.

The students have also enjoyed growing sunflowers that have reached over 7 feet tall, amazing everyone including the teachers!
