Responsibilities:
Conduct research and educational activities in vegetable and row crops in Stanislaus county. Crops include; processed and fresh market tomatoes, mix melons, bell peppers, sweet corn, spinach, peas, green and dry beans, sugar beets, onions, broccoli, spinach, herbs and spices and southeast Asian vegetables.Newsletters:
Vegetable Views; a wide variety of production and pest management articles on major agricultural crops are published on a regular basis (4-6 issues per year). Direct from the Farm. This newsletter is published 3-4 times a year. Small acreage crop topics are published here. Production and pest management topics are also published here as well, which also covers "organic production".
